World Stroke Day – October 29
Stroke is one of the leading causes of death and disability in India.
➡️ Every 4 minutes, one Indian loses their life to stroke.
➡️ India has seen a 51% rise in stroke cases over the last 30 years.
➡️ Only 1 in 4 Indians can reach a stroke-ready hospital in time.
➡️ In Bihar, the incidence is around 67 per 100,000, with limited access to specialized care.

Early identification, timely medical attention, and rehabilitation support can save lives and restore independence.

Let’s unite to raise awareness, promote prevention, and strengthen rehabilitation systems for all stroke survivors.

Together, we can rebuild lives beyond stroke.
